If you are involved in a Community Group that serves the Sutton New Town area then we want you to decorate and display a Christmas tree in a theme that promotes your own cause or community activity.
Are you an art group, a cycling club, or a Scout or Guide group? Are you a local school, nursery or pre-school? Whether you are a women's group, a knitting group or a model railway club then this is a wonderful way of being able to promote and celebrate the activity of your group.
The festival's beautiful setting, the Grade II listed St Barnabas, with its Pre-Raphaelite inspired stained glass and paintings and its arts and crafts carvings is a fantastic place to be able to invite your volunteers and members to celebrate the end of another year. Look out for the events such as the opening reception and community carol singing. You can also arrange for private viewings and use of the space for your own celebration.
We are hoping to fill the venue with up to 60 Christmas Trees. You'll need to either make or bring your own artificial trees. These should be between 4 foot and 6 foot tall. Go wild with your imagination and decorate it with the theme you want to promote.
Click the 'Decorate a Tree' button to make sure that your group gets the space you need. The festival starts on Friday 30th November 2018 and groups will be able to install and decorate your tree from Monday 26th November 2018.
Look below to see the community groups and local businesses that have already pledged to decorate a tree at this years festival. We had 49 trees last year and this year we are going to be even bigger and better!
