2021 Christmas Celebrations

The Manor Park Christmas Tree switch on! Friday 26th November 7 pm - 9 pm

We are coordinating plans with the Manor Park Friends Group to place a Christmas Tree in Manor Park and to have this as the centre of our celebrations.

On Friday 26th November at the Manor Park Cafe, we will host an evening of light and music to mark the approach of the festive season.  We will have festive treats and hot drinks and the evening will culminate with the switch on of the Manor Park Christmas Tree.

We will also be working with the businesses around the Broadway/Lind Road/Lower Road area to help them create a Christmas feel.

The pandemic is still having an impact on the way that each of us lives our lives and this means that we are going to have to do things a little differently this year.   We've got quite a bit of planning still to do to make sure that our plans are COVID safe and as accessible as possible for everyone in our community.

Watch the blogs below for news on how your business or community group can take part.

Santa stop here!

Watch out for visits of Father Christmas to the area.  He's planning on visiting Manor Park School, Gracewell, Brownies and other surprise visits.  If you have a Community Group that meets in the Sutton New Town area and would welcome a visit by Father Christmas then please contact us and we will try and make sure that he can visit you.

The aim of each of our Christmas celebrations is to promote the many community groups that make the Sutton New Town area so special.
