What will we do?

Sutton New Town Community Festival is a community group funded by a Neighbourhood Grant from Sutton Council.  


Our events are inclusive of all people irrespective of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, social and economic circumstances, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender.

We arrange and promote community festivals and events for the benefit of the inhabitants of Sutton New Town and the surrounding area. We want to promote social inclusion and community cohesion through staging fun events and activities for the people of the Sutton New Town area.

We want the visitors who come to the festivals to understand the vibrancy and diversity of the different community groups that serve the people of the Sutton New Town neighbourhood.

We want our events like the Christmas Tree Festival through its beauty and creativity to reduce social exclusion and to promote community cohesion. We want to build a strong sense of civic pride amongst our volunteers and visitors.
